The atmospheric Wildlife’s first single, “Get Going” strips down and bares all telling the story of the dearly departed. “It was a very difficult record,” relates guitarist and songwriter Tristan Wraight. “For the first time this is a significantly personal record for us, and for very real reasons like growing up and people dying that you love.” Although Wildlife and more specifically “Get Going” explore the more unpleasant themes of life, these concepts are juxtaposed by the poppy and iridescent chorus and Wraight and Erin Fein’s radiant harmonies. – Spin Earth
